Breakfast with the Judges: Breakfast with the Judges provides young and new attorneys the opportunity to mingle with judges in an informal, yet professional setting. The event objective is to encourage interaction between young lawyers and the judges before whom they appear and to support the professional development of our young legal community.

Court Tour Program: The Arlington County Court Tour Program was designed to enhance the curriculum educating students about the civil and criminal judicial system. Arlington County students will have the opportunity to participate in a mock trial, and engage with judges, attorneys, and court staff. Depending on the Court’s schedule, they may also have the chance to observe real-life court proceedings. Our goal is for participating students to gain a better respect for and understanding of the judicial branch of government, and the process by which a case comes to trial and a decision is rendered.

Wills For Heroes Program: The Wills for Heroes Program was created to allow the legal community to show its appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices made by firefighters, police, sheriffs, and emergency medical technicians (“first responders”). The Arlington County WFH program will permit eligible first responders and their spouses to receive a basic will, advanced medical directive, and/or power of attorney.
