The Arlington County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section
The Arlington County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section is dedicated to the development of our young and newly-admitted attorneys, to promoting collegiality among Bar members, and to supporting our local community. The Section strives to provide resources to help its members establish themselves in the legal community through practical skills training, networking, and mentorship. Section members will have opportunities to build relationships with other young lawyers, as well as with experienced attorneys and judges as they become acclimated to the practice of law in Arlington County.
The Section hosts monthly social events, at which young and new lawyers meet other local attorneys, learn about the Arlington County Bar Association, and make connections throughout the community. The Section also hosts events throughout the year during which members can interact with the judiciary, engage in continuing legal education, and participate in community service.
Young Lawyer Section membership is automatic for any active attorney member in good standing with the Arlington Bar Association who is under forty (40) years of age or, regardless of age, have been admitted to their first bar association less than five (5) years.
